In the latest Superintendent’s Corner, Interim Superintendent of Schools Mr. Anthony DiCarlo and Assistant Superintendent of Multilingual Education Katheryne Morales update the East Ramapo Community about the District's three multilingual entities, including English as a New Language, Bilingual Education and World Languages.

In the latest Superintendent’s Corner, Interim Superintendent of Schools Mr. Anthony DiCarlo and Director of Facilities Matt Tindall tell the East Ramapo Community all about the latest facilities upgrades across the district. 

Curriculum Connect is a video series produced by the East Ramapo School District and hosted by Dr. Ronald Gonzalez, the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction. The goal of the series is to keep the school community informed about the district's instructional approaches. 

We were made aware that over the last couple of days explicitly racist text messages have been sent to students across the country. These text messages were sent specifically to Black and Brown students in middle and high schools.

Our Multilingual Education Department proudly represented the East Ramapo Central School District at the New York State Education Department's Voices United Conference, themed “Advancing the Civil Rights of English Language Learners and Building Pathways to Multilingualism.”

This week, a cohort of East Ramapo elementary school teachers gathered in the PLCC room in the Central Registration Building to learn how to incorporate “Quality Teaching for English Learners”, or QTEL, into their curriculum.

At the school board meeting on Tuesday, October 8th, Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo recognized School Board Recognition Week, a time when school districts promote awareness and understanding of the important work performed by local school boards.
